Sewage treatment or domestic wastewater treatment, municipal wastewater treatment is a type of wastewater treatment which aims to remove contaminants from sewage to produce an effluent that is suitable for discharge to the surrounding environment or an intended reuse application, thereby preventing water pollution from raw sewage discharges.
There are mainly two type of plants found in general 1) small size or packeged STP and 2) Common STP
SAKAR LLC developed smart and compact sewage treatment plant based on technology used to reclaim water from effluent waste water.
MBBR based STP is a basic treatment Plant with all functionality. This plant uses bio media to convert contaminants into acceptable bio degradable contents which can be removed as sludge in final process.
MBR based STP is a plant based on new age membrane technology, which removes suspended waste and micro particles with help of membrane grid merged in waste water. Design of this plant is very compact compare to other plants.
Common Sewage treatment plants are mainly owned by a organised society or government regulated association to reduce cost of handling, manpower and also land space. Continuous seeding of microorganisms confirms higher control over the quality of the wastewater
Common STP found larger in size than packaged STP plant with higher capacity of processing.
